About the university
The Higher Technological Institute of San Martin Texmelucan, was founded on December 2, 2002, initially was housed in temporary facilities located on the street Miguel Nájera city of San Martin Texmelucan, for the year 2004 he had the first unit practices in the field located in the ejido of San Lucas Atoyatenco. In 2002, the Institute began activities teaching careers in Computer Engineering and Engineering Electromechanical Systems. By 2003 the educational supply increases with the opening of the Industrial Engineering and in 2006, in response to the demands of society, the Public Accounting carrea starts. In 2010 it is included in the educational offer Environmental Engineering career. They incorporated in 2015: Engineering Information Technology and Communication, and Engineering Management. Thanks to the work that has been done over the years, now it is certified ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001: 2004 and accreditation of some educational programs and active participation in associations and educational organizations
