To the difficulties of the company were added the disturbances caused by the armed and political struggle that at that time shook the country. In June 1921, after the triumph of the Agua Prieta movement, General Luis Gutiérrez, Governor of the State, approved on the initiative of Francisco Narro, "the creation of a school of agriculture in Hacienda Buenavista, under the regulations issued by the Secretariat Of Agriculture and Development for the Farm Schools ". For twenty months the Board of Directors worked to prepare for the start of school work. The 4 of March of 1923 was founded the Regional School of Agriculture Antonio Narro with the main objective to prepare young people in a professional discipline for the works of the field. Subsequently, in 1938, the Board of Directors, because of lack of resources, declares itself incapable of sustaining the institution economically, so that it becomes dependent on the state government, being governor General Pedro V. Rodríguez Triana, and the denomination changes to School of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of Coahuila for a short period, since from 1951 to 1953, nominally depends on the Technological Institute of Coahuila, as Antonio Narro Higher School of Agriculture.
