About the university
University Santander is an institution of Higher Education initially constituted as a Non-profit Civil Association, on September 2, 1997, was founded in the city of Madero Tamaulipas under the name of University of Tamaulipas A.C. Subsequently, on December 6, 2007, it was incorporated as a Civil Society in the city of Tampico, Tamaulipas, under the name of Grupo Educativo Santander S.C. SANTANDER UNIVERSITY began its activities in the Chihuahua street No. 112 of the colony National Unit in Ciudad Madero Tamaulipas, later in 2008 it changed its facilities to Mango Street 217 Colonia Altavista, Tampico, Tamaulipas, offering initially six postgraduate degrees. In 2006 UNISAN began its first summer courses, continuing successfully in different parts of the country. Currently UNISAN has a presence in the states of: Tamaulipas, Oaxaca, Coahuila, Yucatan, Jalisco, San Luis Potosi, Nuevo León, State of Mexico, Michoacán, contributing with this great effort to the development of the Higher Education of the Country. Its main objective is to offer quality services that help to improve the socio-cultural development of our beloved MEXICO.
