Presentación de la Carrera: La carrera en Relaciones Internacionales, tiene como propósito formar profesionales que desarrollen la capacidad de comprender, analizar y mediar en los diferentes procesos políticos, económicos y sociales del actual orden internacional. Podrá desempeñarse en diversos ámbitos de trabajo ya sean del sector público, privado, en organismos no gubernamentales o en organismos internacionales que realicen actividades de comercio exterior, además conocerá acerca las relaciones del entorno local e internacional en sus dimensiones políticas, históricas, jurídicas, sociales y económicas, elaborará metodologías, instrumentos y normativas relacionadas con el manejo de las relaciones internacionales y diplomáticas, contribuyendo así, al establecimiento de relaciones diplomáticas exitosas y amigables. Un Relacionista Internacional puede trabajar en las siguientes áreas: Sector Público y privado Organismos no Gubernamentales (ONG) Asesorías Externas Investigación y docencia Relaciones Públicas Coordinador de Protocolo Embajadas y consulados nacionales y extranjeros Medios de comunicación con requerimiento de contactos externos, gobiernos locales
