About the university
The Higher School of Public Administration in Kielce is the University of the Foundation for the Development of Local Democracy - the largest social organization in Poland cooperating with the self-government, which since 1990 has developed and trained in the network of schools and centers of nearly one million people and was awarded for its activity the Prime Minister's Prize Publico Bono. WSAP in Kielce was established on the basis of the permission of the Minister of Science and Higher Education DNS-1-0145-236 / RO / 99 of April 27, 1999 and June 14, 1999, entered into the register of non-state vocational schools (item 18). The Higher School of Public Administration in Kielce studies at the level of higher vocational studies (first cycle studies) in a stationary and extramural system. The study lasts three years and ends with the title of LICENCJATA. The graduate receives a bachelor's degree in the field and a diploma supplement that is designed to recognize academic and professional qualifications at home and abroad. Thanks to the signed contracts, WSAP graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies at the Master's Degree Supplementary Courses at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University and at the Faculty of Management and Administration at Jan Kochanowski University of Humanities and Sciences in Kielce. Candidates are admitted there without having passed entrance exams. WSAP also has agreements with German administrative schools in Kehl and Berlin, where exchange of students and lecturers is carried out. In addition, the Polish-German Research Center is run by the Center for Self-Government Studies. The college provides financial support to students (scholarships, social, special, housing, meals, grants and student loans). Students studying full-time studies are practicing in offices, which may be the beginning of a career of a public administration official.
