Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk

In established in 1947, the State Higher School of Music in Sopot, the teaching of music theory was held in the framework of the then faculty of education. Temporarily within the framework of the Department of Composition and Music Theory of work: Pedagogical studies and foreign languages. In the school year 2007-2008, the symphony and opera were re-organized as a field of study. The parent of the Academy of Music-with the current artistic and pedagogical activity in the late 50's acquired a new quality - scientific activity. Under his leadership, he gradually crystallizes the internal division into sections, as an expression of the formation of the specialization of scientific and pedagogical cadres: Section of Harmony and Musical Forms Section Counterpoint, Music and Literature Section Points of Musicology Solfedzhio section, section Records and Musical Acoustics, Musicotherapy section.
