Multi-faculty studies of environmental protection prepares the graduates who possess the knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, geography and geology are skilled in the application of some techniques in their professional work and possess the social competences to work in team, to deepen their knowledge by themselves and to present the scientific achievements to any interested audience. In the study programme the special attention is paid to the practical preparation of the graduates by the apprenticeship they take part in. Individual interests are developed during the classes at choice offered by the Faculties contributing to the studies as well as by other fields of study. At the final year of the study the Bachelor’s thesis is written on a selected topic related with a scientific interest of a department chosen by a student. The courses, which aid its preparation, are Bachelor’s workshops and seminars, where students learn how to interpret and discuss scientific literature as well as how to use it when writing scientific texts. Professional prospects: BSc diploma in environmental protection, as the Ist stage of professional qualification, authorizes the graduates to the work in consulting companies, departments dealing with environmental protection issues in the enterprises and institutions engaged in various fields of environmental protection.
