State Higher Vocational School in Legnica

In 1998 the first independent state university was established in Legnica. The beginnings of the State Higher Vocational School im. Witelon in Legnica was not easy. The school started without its own material base and academic staff. In spite of this, in a few years it became the largest university of its kind in Poland. The largest, because it educates in its stationary, extramural and postgraduate studies already more than 14 thousand students, and the area of ​​teaching rooms exceeds 21 thousand. M2, which is more than two hectares. In 2008 the State Higher Vocational School im. Witelon in Legnica celebrated the 10th anniversary of Lecia. At that time, a great deal of work was done for the University to evolve from an unknown institution to an independent higher education institution, influencing the city and region. Development of the State Higher Vocational School im. Witelon in Legnica is still in full use. Works will soon be commenced in the next buildings, and the educational offer will be extended to new jobs and specializations on the labor market.
