The specific goals of this degree are: the development of expertise and comprehension skills in the scientific and methodological areas of psychology; knowing how to apply the knowledge acquired and to integrate it into explanatory models, adopting an initial approach to differing assessment and intervention tools in the area of psychology; the development of skills in collecting, selecting and interpreting information that provide a foundation for decisions, judgements and solutions, including the various levels of scientific, social and ethical integration; the development of problem-solving skills, from problem recognition to the implementation of solutions; the development of strategies for communicating information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences; the acquisition of skills for lifelong learning, including self-directed and autonomous learning; a practical introduction to the different contexts of action/intervention in Psychology.
