About the university
"Petre Andrei" University of Iasi is the largest and most prestigious private institution of higher education in Moldova. It was founded in 1990 as part of the Academic Foundation "Petre Andrei", a non-governmental organization dedicated to the memory of Petre Andrei, a well-known philosopher and academician. After a long institutional evaluation process, in 2002, "Petre Andrei" University was accredited according to the Law 408/20 June 2002 as a private higher education institution of public utility, an integral part of the Romanian educational system. All our Bachelor's and Master's degrees are recognized and certified by the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport. Our study programs are developed in accordance with the provisions of the Bologna Treaty.
