About the university
Higher School of Professional Business Studies was founded in 1996. It came into being as a result of the merger of two business schools - The School of Economics and Commerce and the School of Organizational and Computer Science, each with a long tradition of educating experts in economics, computer science and organization of work. The School of Economics and Commerce was founded in Novi Sad on 27th June in 1959. At the very beginning there were only three full-time employees. However, very soon both the number of employees and the number of students enrolled started growing steadily. The School of Economics and Commerce achieved significant results in educating economic and commercial experts. Graduates of the School -11 thousand of them over the 37 years of the school’s existence have held important positions in the economic, public and political life of the country.
