About the university
The Faculty of Management in Zajecar was founded in 1997 as the first private faculty in Eastern Serbia, and is part of the University of John Nezbit (Megatrend University) in Belgrade. John Nezbit University today is the largest private university with 12 faculties and the Institute of New Technologies. Over twenty thousand students are studying at these institutions. A year before the establishment of the Faculty of Management in Zajecar, the School of Management started its work. The Faculty of Management was created due to the need to educate highly qualified personnel from the area of Eastern Serbia. The founder of the Faculty is prof. Dr Mica Jovanović, winner of the world recognition for the development of higher education.
