Location
During the 1st level of university study, the student will gain an overview of prehistoric and early historical development, especially the territory of Slovakia, respectively. Central Europe. In the field of knowledge of archaeological sources, they will learn to orient themselves in their basic chronological and cultural identification and gain the necessary overview in the literature. They will get acquainted with the valid legal norms that legislatively determine the preparation and implementation of basic field research and guarantee the protection of the national cultural heritage. They will acquire basic procedures and skills in documenting the finding situation and records of the finding fund. With knowledge of the basics of the methodology of archaeological research, the graduate is able to analyze archaeological sources and contexts and place them in the context of the historical and cultural development of Slovakia and Europe.
