About the university
Hanoi University of Pedagogy (Hanoi National University) was officially established on October 11, 1951 under the Decree of the Ministry of Education. But the process of formation and development of the school began again from an important event that was October 10, 1945, just over a month after reading the Declaration of Independence to give birth to Viet Nam. The Democratic Republic of South Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh signed the Ordinance on the establishment of the Faculty of Literature in Hanoi, in which the first task was to train Secondary School teachers. One year later, on October 8, 1946, the President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam issued Order No. 194 / SL to establish a pedagogical discipline, to train teachers for basic and secondary education. General, specialized, experimental and professional secondary schools in the whole country.
