Geography is a science of the territory, a naturalistic and environmental discipline, and at the same time eminently social. Geography provides the essential cultural elements to obtain a broad view of the Earth, its realities, its problems and risks to its inhabitants. But in addition to this broad general view, it provides a broad theoretical and methodological base, as well as techniques and tools for analysing and recommending solutions that help to mitigate or solve the various territorial problems formulated by society. Geography contributes decisively to the overall understanding of spaces on the different scales of analysis. Its methods of analysis spatially materialise the most abstract ideas of disciplines such as law, economics, sociology or biology, while strengthening the diagnosis and intervention proposals. In the curriculum of this degree special importance is given to the education and training of the student, so that in planning their activities, excursions and internships outside of the classroom are common.
