Computer vision is the ability to see on machines, that is, to extract the spatio-temporal structure of images / videos in order to fully interpret a scene. This is a field in which abundant research activity takes place, but it is not just research. Computer vision technologies have the ability to contribute to well-being, economic growth and environmental sustainability at a faster rate and at a lower cost than has ever been done. Automatic understanding of our visual world has never been more important in applications such as: healthcare, industry 4.0, mobile robotics, infrastructure and service safety, road safety, autonomous vehicles, leisure, advertising and more. This master's degree offers an interdisciplinary specialization in the general fundamentals of computer vision. The master's degree aims to fill the current gap in the northwest of the peninsula and Portugal in relation to the formation of this profile, but also aims to attract students from other parts of Spain, Portugal and internationally.
