About the university
The Educational College of Schaffhausen (PHSH) trains teachers for pre-primary education (Bachelor in Pre-Primary Education) and primary school (Bachelor in Primary Education). It is a training center for teachers in the canton of Schaffhausen. At the PH Schaffhausen, about 150 students, about 50 lecturers, scientific staff, and employees in administrative, technical and operational functions (mostly with partial pensions) are active. About 200 practitioners receive training in vocational training. PHSH's continuing education department receives about 1,600 course registrations each year. Each year, the Didactic Center manages around 28,000 lending of media. The PHSH is positioning itself with national and international research projects in the area of early childhood thinking.
