About the university
The Faculty of Law and Political and Economic Sciences of Tunis, (created in 1960), was considered one of the branches of the Department of Legal and Economic Studies of the Institute of Higher Studies of Tunis. The promulgation of Decree No. 945 of 13 October 1986 divided the Faculty of Law and Economics and Political Sciences of Tunis into two faculties, one offering studies of economics and the other of legal and political studies. And that is how the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Tunis came into being.
