About the university
The Bourguiba Institute of Modern Languages was created by presidential decree in 1962. It is an academic institution belonging to Tunis El Manar University and is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and of research. Throughout the year, the Institute provides language courses for listeners, young or old, Tunisian or foreign, aged 15 years or more. It also organizes intensive sessions of teaching Arabic, a foreign language for more than 800 participants each summer, as well as an intensive session in modern languages for Tunisian students and students. It comprises the following departments: the Arabic and Oriental Languages Department, the English Department, The Department of French and the Department of Languages. The languages taught are: German, English, Modern Standard Arabic, Tunisian Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese , Russian and Turkish. Located in the city center, the IBLV has air-conditioned rooms equipped with audio-visual equipment. This equipment also includes:
