The aim of the program is to train translators and interpreters who possess an advanced degree of competence in Turkish and English, who are familiar with the cultures of both languages, and in addition to English, who know at least one foreign language sufficiently enough to be able to use it for translation and interpreting. Our department aims to follow a program which updates itself continuously, is dynamic and supported with international cooperation and projects. Our vision is to offer internationally respected translation and interpreting education in Turkey, to cooperate with prominent international universities, institutions and companies in order to share ideas and run joint programs. Our goal is to be dynamic and innovative besides contributing to the scientific world with our studies.
