About the university
Kiev Children Academy of Arts (KDAM), founded Kyiv City State Administration in 1994 - higher professional art school innovation for children and youth. The author of the concept and the first rector KDAM - People's Artist of Ukraine, professor, academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, corresponding member of National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, composer Michael Chemberzhi. The basis he created the concept of educational activities KDAM - the idea of continuing art education, a combination of four levels of training (preparatory - primary - basic - high school) in the same establishment. The Academy trains specialists from various artistic disciplines: music art, art, theater and choreography.
