Our BA in Art is a great degree for the student who loves to be creative but doesn’t see themselves working in an art job. The BA in Art consists of 48 credits within the major and can easily combine with another major such as Business, Communication, Psychology, or Biology allowing you to pursue your professional interests while staying connected and growing your creative talents. Alternately, you could pair the BA in Art with multiple Minors such as Communication, Dance, Environmental Education, Museum Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, or Web Development to name a few. Creative professionals are highly valued employees in every business and organization. Our graduates find employment in commercial enterprises, private firms, government agencies or work in educational institutions. Some choose the entrepreneurial path or become self-employed professional artists or go on to graduate school.
