El/la Especialista en Psicología del Deporte y la Actividad Física tendrá la formación y acreditación para desarrollar funciones dentro del campo del Deporte y la Actividad Física. Tendrá la capacidad de interpretar las demandas psicológicas e intervenir en el área de actividades en que se integre. Podrá desempeñarse en los siguiente ámbitos laborales: Deporte del rendimiento: Deporte profesional. Deporte de Alto rendimiento. Deporte de otros niveles de rendimiento (federaciones deportivas) Deporte de Base e Iniciación: Deporte infantil y escolar. Deporte comunitario. Iniciación en la actividad física y el deporte. Deporte de Ocio, Salud y Tiempo Libre: Deporte para todos. Deporte para poblaciones con necesidades especiales (discapacidades, tercera edad y poblaciones de riesgo).
