About the university
The Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-1460 of May 2, 1996 "On the Establishment of the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic No. 180 of May 17, 1996 "On the Organization of Banking -financial Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan ". Today the Academy is the main state educational, educational and methodological, scientific and information-analytical center in the banking and financial sphere of the republic, as well as in the system of management of training, retraining and raising the qualification of bank and financial management personnel and specialists.
