About the university
Today, Tashkent State Agrarian University is the only higher educational institution that prepares specialized personnel for the agrarian sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At present, seven faculties are functioning as a part of the university: Agronomy, Selection, Seed Planting and Plant Protection, Fruit and Vegetable and Viticulture, Forestry and Medicinal Plants, Animal Husbandry and Silkworm, Agroengineering, Agriculture Management. Tashkent State Agrarian University is an example of a higher educational institution with high scientific potential and wide opportunities for education, with developed international relations and preparing socially-adapted specialists. In recent years, the university has established good traditions, there is a different approach to the training of bachelors and specialists of the magistracy, the material and technical base of the institution improves, international cooperation with the well-known universities of Europe and Asia is expanding.
