Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi was founded in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 13, 2016. The Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi is named after the famous Uzbek, Turkic and Central Asian poet, philosopher and statesman Alisher Navoi. It is the main regulating institute of the Uzbek language. The structure of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, in addition to faculties and departments, includes the Uzbek language and literature museum, the teaching and methodological department, the magistracy department, the department for scientific research and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel, the editorial and publishing department, the research Institute of Uzbek Language and Literature, International Relations Department, Marketing and Employment Department of Graduates, Training and Advanced Training Center for Uzbek I yka and Literature, Information Resource Center, Information Technology Center, on spirituality department, enlightenment and work with talented young people, and other departments.
