At the Faculty of Chemical Technology, students may focus their professional profiles towards specialized fields: the production and properties of metals, glass, or ceramic materials; plastics and rubber; biocompatible materials; and nano- or submicron-scale structured materials. Students can also focus on a more theoretical programme exceeding the scope of the foundational programme. During the course of the programme, students choose one of three specializations offered. The main aim of this specialization is to prepare students for their Master degree studies. The specialization Chemistry focuses on the knowledge of the physico-chemical principles of chemical and biochemical processes and on the understanding of the fundamentals of inorganic and organic synthesis.
