The teaching philosophy at VIA Construction Technology consists of a combination of theory lessons, assignments and project work. You will primarily learn theory through practical assignments and case studies. Your choice of projects will increasingly be influenced by your own interest and abilities. 1st semester: Building plot and 1-2 storey dwellings Your first semester project will be a "single-family house," covering all aspects relating to situating the house on a plot, specifying and arranging rooms, selecting materials, selecting building services, costing, time management, etc. 2nd semester: Land plot and single-family house The project methodology in the second semester will be applied to the following themes: Industry and Technology, International Project Week and Designing a two-storey single-family house with a basement.
