Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.) Course Overview Architecture is characterized by a symbiosis between creativity and technology. The vibrant, dynamic and all-encompassing nature of Architecture and other arts implies that the teaching-learning process in this area is very different from other domains of education. There are multidisciplinary challenges which influence architecture like Art, Technology, Environment, Society, Aesthetics and many more. Architecture is always dynamic. Hence the B.Arch. Program should be designed keeping in view the current situation and possible future developments at global level. The Scheme of instructions and curriculum should be designed to meet the standards by eminent architects, well qualified academicians with different specializations. The architecture course intends to teach students the conceptualization of designs, socio-economic influence and need of the hour skills. The program aims to improve student’s aesthetic judgments and facilitate with exposure to a wide range of techniques and offers wide range of learning methods. The students choosing B.Arch. program will enjoy their learning, update themselves in the required skills. The student-centered teaching learning ambience, hands-on experience helps to develop their personality to become successful professionals. Eligibility Criteria B.Arch. Pass in PUC/10+2 / Pre-University Course or equivalent with minimum 50% in PCM scores and also 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+2,Diploma with Mathematics having minimum 50% aggregate marks. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with PCM &having not less than 50% of marks in aggregate . Student should have passed the National Aptitude Test in Architecture [NATA] conducted by Council of Architecture.
