President of the Moroccan School of Translation and Interpreting (ESMTI): in this case, the first private university of Translation and especially Interpreting in Morocco. After our successful Post-Doctoral Transition at the Department of Translation and Interpretation at The Colorado Uni versity (Denver, USA) we realized the shortcomings of Translation and Interpretation in our country Morocco; We have therefore focused on the need to create a private structure in Morocco, in Africa. This project took proportions and dimensions such that we made more than a personal cause, a true patriotic cause ... Thus was born in 2006 the Moroccan School of Translation and Interpretation (ESMTI). This institution, which is a pioneer in its field, has quickly relied on quality training by bringing together the best skills of the place to train its pedagogical staff: Doctor-Traductologists, Practitioners-Interpreters, Punctual Linguists, Theorists Informed of European or American universities; In short, a synergy that merged and a real Engineering of modern languages ​​was put in place and returned to action with brilliance. July 2009, the other year of ESMTI; It is the year of the celebration the release of its very first promotion in Translation Writing, the majority of which is already hard at work in the professional world (either by opening their own translation offices, or by becoming Linguistic experts, translators, editors, external communications and international relations managers, and editorial editors in organizations such as MAP, advertising and communication agencies, or Off_shoring structures. Here we salute the laureates who have opted for specialization in the Conference Interpretation cycle at our prestigious institution and who will soon be the first interpreters of conferences trained in Morocco.
