Peruvian University of Sciences and Informatics

The National Council for the Authorization and Functioning of Universities (CONAFU), through Resolution 238-2001 of December 4, 2002, approved the Institutional Development Project (PDI) of the University, whose contents are about Vision, Mission, Objectives, Academic and Management Organization of the University, as well as the programming of activities and the annual budgets projected towards the first five years of institutional life. By Resolution 167-2002, CONAFU resolves to grant Provisional Operation Authorization to the Peruvian University of Sciences and Informatics, based in the City of Lima, to train university professionals in Systems Engineering and Computing and Accounting, Auditing and Finance. In February 2004, CONAFU, through Resolution 028-2004, authorized the first Admission Process and the corresponding examinations were held on Sunday, April 25 of that year. By Resolution 029 of February 10, 2004, the National Council for the Permission to Function Universities (CONAFU) resolved "To declare the completion of the process of adaptation of the Peruvian University of Sciences and Informatics, based in Lima and Department of Lima, to The Law on the Promotion of Investment in Education approved by Legislative Decree No. 882, requested by the University Promotion Association ". The National Superintendence of Public Registries (SUNARP), through Registry Office No. IX, based in Lima, registered as a Closed Joint-Stock Company to the Peruvian University of Science and Technology (UPCISAC) under Item No. 11897814. Up to the present, the UPCI has completed six years of operation, having formed two promotions of professionals in the areas of its competence, who participate in the productive life of the country and continue their postgraduate studies. Likewise, in order to consolidate its institutional life, it underwent five self-evaluation processes, obtaining in all the qualification of satisfactory. Consequently he has obtained his AUTONOMY as a University, with all the rights and prerogatives. During its institutional life, the UPCI is concerned to establish a new academic model oriented towards the integration of cutting-edge scientific paradigms, with the technological applications required by the social and economic development of the country. In that sense, there is a synergistic coordination of activities between CESCA , COMPUTRONIC , CICEX and UPCI . The National Superintendence of Public Registries (SUNARP), through Registry Office No. IX, based in Lima, registered as a Closed Corporation to the Peruvian University of Science and Technology (UPCISAC) under Item No. 11897814.
