The Bachelor's Degree in Podiatry is structured according to the Bologna process and has a duration of 3 academic years (six semesters), corresponding to a total of 180 ECTS, in accordance with the Registry - R/B - AD - 05/2009, published in the Diário da República by the Order no. 8371/2009 of 2 February. According to Notice no. 10069/2012 of 18 July, published in the 2nd series of Diário da República no. 143, of 25 July, the study plan for this course provides students with a range of integrated knowledge, culminating in a large course load of clinical practice, which enables graduates to acquire the necessary skills in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the feet and lower limbs, indispensable to the professional practice of clinical podiatry.
