Admission Requirements The following may apply to the cycle of studies that leads to the mestre degree a) holders of a licenciado degree or legal equivalent; b) Holders of a foreign academic degree conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a State that adheres to that process; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as fulfilling the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the statutorily competent body; d) holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized by the statutorily competent body of ULHT as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle of studies. Seriation criteria - 50% note of the previous qualification - 50% Interview Applicants without a degree or without a classification of previous qualification, the interview is weighted 100%. Objectives The objectives of the program are - Design and develop games in a variety of media; - Acquire the necessary knowledge for their future professional career; - Provide opportunities for research in partnership with the games industry; - Offer specialized training in skills essential to the employability of very competitive sectors, promoting the creation of interfaces between academic research and industrial reality, through synergies with professionals in the games industry and related areas; - To expand the practice and research in new media through the Game Design area; - To convey a theoretical and contextual understanding of Game Design and its meanings in the contemporary cultural context of new media; - Integrate multidisciplinary knowledge in order to develop a culture of innovation, art and entrepreneurship in games. Recipients - Graduates in Video Games, Animation, Computer Engineering, Multimedia and related areas. - All those capable of working in teams, in challenging, speculative projects and capable of making a difference to seek professions in the games industry in which the concepts that define or transform games and playable media emerge.
