1. The Doctoral Program in Health Sciences at the University of Alcalá is integrated in the Doctoral School of the University of Alcalá, created by the decree "Orden 11375/2012, de 29 de octubre, BOCM 10-11 -2012 ". This program is available at the Lusofona University, a preferential partner of the Universidad de Alcalá, thanks to the long-established cooperation agreements between these two institutions. The University of Alcalá is therefore, for all purposes, the legal owner of the program. 2.The objective of the present cooperation is to promote a high quality offer in advanced research and and education in the health sciences, in the universities and respective countries, and, through through it, - attract and encourage highly qualified graduates and scholars, especially from the Portuguese-speaking world, to participate in this program; - promote cooperation between research centers/groups and eventually extend it to other institutions within the European Union and also from third countries (particularly from Latin America) Latin America); - to contribute to improving the accessibility and visibility of higher education in the Union.
