This program has been designed to give the student a solid foundation in information technology to foster success in obtaining a four-year degree. The student will gain a background in networking, programming, database design, and web site design. This degree program also provides a solid math background required to develop problem solving skills. As an information technology (IT) major, you'll study computer science, business, and communications. Along the way, you might focus on one specialty such as web development or digital communications. But regardless of your focus, you’ll acquire strong technical and communication skills.
