Faculty of Tourism of Ovied

Faculty tourism Ovied or (the former school of tourism of Asturias) was founded in 1968 in the center of Oviedo, the capital of the Principality of Asturias. Born with a clear vocation as a specialized center in the level of top tourism education, thus, in accordance with the regulations in force at any time, they study techniques in the management of tourism, the first and technical business and tourism activities, with the latest Diplomatura range. When in 1997 the study became a university, the faculty was one of the first to be appointed by the university, in this case the University of Oviedo, has worked since then with various university bodies to achieve prestige, which currently have tourism research. Our faculty actively participated in the development of the current plan in the investigative studies of the University of Oviedo and in the preparation of the White Book on the degree of tourism, together with most of the rest of the university schools. Originally the school was in the symbolic Plaza de la Catedral de Oviedo, moving from 2001 to new and modern facilities located on the slopes of Mount Naranco, near Asturias pre-Romanesque monuments. In its spirit to continue to grow in 2015, the school passes school in Llanes hotel -HUNI school-hotel. Studying at the Faculty of Tourism at the headquarters in Oviedo Llanes means not only knowing how to start a hotel but also getting training in management and direction among the excellence in the country that is the engine of international hospitality. HUNI Hotel School was established to meet the growing demand for professionals with specific training for the national and international hotel sector.
