There is a social demand for specialists in R&D&I with skills to innovate and who can join multidisciplinary teams, being able to adapt to the continuous changes that are currently taking place in the field of food. Globalization in the economy and in the food market make food technology and safety a general interest topic and one that is influenced by a number of factors. Food production and consumption are essential for every society and have economic, social and, in many cases, environmental repercussions.
