This Degree qualifies graduates for the regulated profession of Agricultural Engineer in its specialities in Farm Holdings, Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Gardening, Agricultural and Food Industries, and Rural Construction and Mechanisation, with all professional responsibilities recognised by law. Graduates of the Degree in Agricultural and Food Engineering are recognised at European level as this degree is adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Besides providing adequate general training for graduates, the studies of Agricultural and Food Engineering include itineraries that specialise in activities of agricultural production, agribusiness and the rural environment and gardening, with a special focus on the reality of the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
