The Degree in Optics and Optometry from USC aims to train highly qualified graduates for Primary Eye Health Care. For this purpose, it is necessary to carry out activities aimed at the prevention, detection, evaluation and treatment of sight disorders, which respond to the demands of society. Students develop skills capable of assessing and incorporating technological advances required for the proper development of their professional activity, and acquiring the ability to conduct clinical management focused on the patient, on health economics and on the efficient use of health resources.
