Duration of studies 1 year and 4 months Educational background requirements: Graduates who have got a Bachelor’s or a Specialist’s degree in History and those who have got a Bachelor’s degree in another field under the condition of successfully passing the required additional entrance exams according to the Admission Regulations of the National University of Ostroh Academy. Professional competencies and skills Based on fundamental and special trainings, the graduates having a Master in History degree can perform the following types of work: - research work as a research assistant in scientific institutions and as an assistant professor (lecturer) at higher educational establishments, employee at research libraries, editor and journalist of the specialized journals, newspapers and electronic media, consultant of the civil society organizations; - practical and research work in museums, archive institutions, excursion offices, travel companies, local-history organizations, libraries, archaeological and ethnographic expeditions, archeographic organizations and institutions. - practical work at bodies of authority and management, state administrations, bodies and institutions of foreign policy and diplomacy.
