This Foundation Diploma in Art and Design is specifically designed to prepare students for undergraduate degrees in art and design subjects. This year-long course will introduce you to exciting projects, new people, and experiences that will influence your future studies, career, and creative endeavours. On this vibrant course, you’ll try different disciplines from across art and design while being supported to fulfil your creative potential and ambitions. In the initial weeks of the course, you will try out different art and design pathways, exploring Fine Art, 3D Design, Fashion and Textiles, and Visual Communication. You will then select a pathway to pursue in further depth through specialist projects and a final exhibition. You will be guided by expert tutors on this flagship Foundation Diploma programme which is delivered in partnership with UAL - a prestigious Art and Design school ranked second in the world for Art and Design. Art Foundation is widely considered the best preparation for progression to an undergraduate degree in the creative arts in the UK.
