The part-time Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program provides comprehensive teaching preparation. The online, evening coursework provides students with a strong foundation in teaching methods and philosophy while the year-long teaching internship allows students to put coursework into practice. The program is Maryland State Department of Education approved, and the University partners with school districts throughout Maryland.
