The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700. UW-Stevens Point has a 100 percent pass rate for the PRAXIS exam in speech-language pathology and 100 percent of our graduates are employed within a few months of graduation. Clinical training in speech and language pathology may begin at the undergraduate level and continues throughout graduate school in clinical practical experiences at the UW-Stevens Point Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic and off-campus sites such as hospitals, private practices, birth-to-three programs, and skilled nursing facilities in the area. The clinical experience culminates with a full-time externship during the final semester of the graduate program.
