Computer Engineering PhD is a program which can be applied by students who have graduated from undergraduate and graduate programs of Computer and Software Engineering. The main aim of the program is to provide advanced education about the basic subjects in the field of computer engineering, as well as advanced education in other fields, and to enable the students to conduct a unique research on a specific area. In addition to this main aim, it is aimed to train Computer Engineering academicians which is one of the most important needs of Northern Cyprus Universities. There is a great need for researchers who are graduates of masters and PhD, who will carry out international collaborations, follow the latest developments, who have the necessary analysis and synthesis skills, and who can produce innovative ideas and lead the research and development projects. This program will lend assistance to the training of researchers who possess the above mentioned qualifications.The program includes many disciplines and students are involved in the projects with their thesis advisors. These disciplines include; Computer Sciences, Computer Software, algorithms, computer networks, image processing, artificial intelligence, databases and human-computer interactions. PhD program consists of 7 courses, a PhD qualification exam after the completion of the courses, a seminar and a thesis.
