CERMICS - CENTRE D'ENSEIGNEMENT ET DE RECHERCHE EN MATHÉMATIQUES ET CALCUL SCIENTIFIQUE Le CERMICS est un laboratoire de l'École des Ponts ParisTech, hébergeant des équipes projets communes avec INRIA et l'Université de Marne-la-Vallée. Le laboratoire s'intéresse à un spectre large d'activités en mathématiques appliquées dont l'originalité thématique est l'étude combinée de modèles déterministes et stochastiques ainsi que leurs aspects théoriques et numériques. Le CERMICS est organisé en trois pôles: - Modélisation, analyse et simulation sur les méthodes mathématiques pour la science des matériaux et la mécanique; - Optimisation et systèmes sur l'optimisation stochastique et la recherche opérationnelle; - Probabilités appliquées sur la modélisation du risque et les méthodes numériques. ► Le CERMICS est rattaché à l'École Doctorale MSTIC ► Le CERMICS adhère à la SMAI (Société de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles) ► Le CERMICS participe depuis 2011 au Labex Bézout - Modèles et algorithmes : du discret au continu à l'interface entre mathématiques et informatique. ► Le CERMICS participe depuis 2012 au Labex MMCD - Modélisation & Expérimentation pour la Construction Durable.
