Founded in 1918, Hebrew University of Jerusalem is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized city Jerusalem (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Education, Israel, Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI) is a large (enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution.
