About the university
Dual studying at Gera-Eisenach, a dual university, means studying while at the same time gaining intensive practical experience. In a total of six semesters, three-month theoretical phases at the dual university alternate with subsequent practical phases in a practice partner. Whoever studies dual is clearly in the advantage, because by the close interlinking of theory and practice the career begins already during the study. The practical phases in the partner companies are not just practical internships, which are not connected with the studies. Rather, the contents of the practical phases are adapted to the preceding theoretical phases and are supported by project work. In this way, knowledge is promptly tested and deepened in practice, and methodical, social and communicative skills are further developed.
