Identifying international business opportunities, mastering intercultural communication and the ability to solve a wide range of corporate problems are imperative skills in today’s business world. Managers who work in a global environment need to possess the analytical mindset and extended knowledge in international management to succeed in international trade relations. Our Master’s programme in International Management prepares students for all of these tasks by providing them with an international perspective, a strong theoretical background and valuable skills. Company projects and internships are incorporated into the programme so students can foster their professional experience, extend their network and gain insight into the challenges of international corporations. The study programme focuses on areas such as innovation management, global strategies and risk, contract and project management. Students obtain the necessary expertise in foreign trade, financing and international economic law. In addition, the programme includes modules on human resource management and strategic network management. Students learn to improve their negotiation, intercultural and leadership skills so that they can easily adapt to local cultures and are able to successfully manage international business activities. A degree in International Management opens up opportunities in the global job market and provides career prospects that are very diverse. Graduates can work in growing international areas such as Risk Management, Consulting, Business Development or Market Research. Intakes: 1 March and 1 September each year International candidates: Please apply at least 3 months before the start of the programme - 31 August or 30 November. If you don't need a student visa, you can apply until the start of the programme. The admission requirements are: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent - Personal or telephone interview - Proof of English language proficiency.
