Rushmore Business School was established in 2002 due to the growing demand for access to tertiary education in Indian Ocean Rim countries. The low levels of enrolment at tertiary level in these countries prompted Governments to encourage the private sector to invest into the provision of higher education in various fields of study. The government of Mauritius has always put a lot on emphasis on Tertiary Education since independence in 1968 and continues to encourage the private sector to invest in infrastructure and facilities for students. Ever since its foundation, Rushmore Business School has played a major role in providing Higher Education and Training to the local and regional markets and more recently to international students. In 2007, the Business School obtained accreditation from the British Accreditation Council and has now become a global player providing quality tertiary education to students from all over the world. Graduates from the Business School occupy middle to top management postions in companies and government departments in various sectors of the economy. In 2012, Rushmore Business School moved into its brand new campus in Quatre Bornes comprising state of the art infrastructure, facilities and latest technology. In our quest for excellence,we have formed partnerships with prestigious top-ranking universities and awarding bodies worldwide to bring to our students a range of world-class programmes.
