Aircraft engineers are responsible for the safety of thousands of air passengers every year, playing a critical role in certifying an aircraft airworthy in accordance with aviation standards. The BEng (Hons) Aircraft Engineering degree provides graduates with appropriate skills to deal with aircraft design, manufacturing and maintenance. The degree focuses on aircraft operational aspects, design methods incorporating some of the software tools used in aircraft design and management engineering.
